do you normally run a different mesa on your system? Like one with altivec disabled or something ?

No, I use the Mesa from the repositories. Currently the version 24.1.6-1 again.

In 26.2 improvements were made for R300/Big Endian PowerPC. I think you use R600g cards, for which Pavel did not add contributions. I think you better stay at 24.1.6 indeed. There are not many people working on PowerPC unfortunately.

Yes, I use the r600g driver.

No, I haven’t tried it yet but I will test it on MintPPC32 as soon as possible.
