Hi All,

I compiled SeaLion 34.3.0 for Linux PPC 32-bit (without AltiVec) and for Linux x86_64 yesterday.

New:
The old 'mach' command from the SeaLion sources cannot compile the new SeaLion, as the new UXP depends on Python 3.
I used the new 'mach' command from the UXP sources which is compatible with Python 3.

I also had to remove Python 2 before I could compile the new SeaLion.

Downloads: github.com

The x86_64 version was built on a PROXMOX VE 9.2.3 server:

Have a nice weekend,

Sometimes SeaLion takes a little longer to start up, so it’s handy to have a splash screen displayed while it’s loading.

To do this, I’ve customized the “Splashed” add-on for SeaLion. You can use your own splash screen and even play a sound when the app starts. There are many other customization options available as well.

Download or install it directly from here: splashed-1.4.3-sl.xpi

Settings of Splashed:

I compiled the Linux PPC64 version again today but unfortunately it doesn't start. There aren't any error messages.

But there is a new UXP based web browser available for Linux PPC64.

Hi All,

The White Star Browser doesn't start either. Could someone please test it on Debian PPC64 on the X1000?

Thanks in advance,
