Hi All,

Here is the RC6 of kernel 7.0 for X1000 and e5500 machines (X5000/20, X5000/40, Mirari, and QEMU VMs).

Download and further information: github.com

:o Great! 👍

Code: Select all

CFE> set pmu -astate=a0
CFE> set astate 4 -speed=2000
CFE> set pmu -astate=a4
CFE> show pmu
I configured:

Code: Select all

setenv -p speed 'set pmu -astate=a0; set astate 4 -speed=2000; set pmu -astate=a4'
Now:

Code: Select all

...
STARTUP speed;menu
...
speed set pmu -astate=a0; set astate 4 -speed=2000; set pmu -astate=a4
After a reboot:

Code: Select all

AState 4 now configured for 2000MHz

I’m going to test it first.

Instructions:
  • Press "<" or "CTRL-ALT-<" or "CTRL-ALT-~" or "CTRL-ALT-^" to bring the console down
  • In the console type:

    Code: Select all

    timedemo demo1.demo usecache
This will precache all the textures so you don't need to run it twice to get accurate results.

So just chiming back in.

First happy Easter and I won't try and match that nice image. :-)

Second and so forth I tested 5.10.252 with Precise and it worked fine in use. It had an issue rebooting as it stalled with a blank screen. I haven't tested it since.

Next I tried 6.12.79 on my Xenial. That worked fine. Didn't notice any issues.

On my MATE system I've tested 7.0 RC1 through RC5 so far. All test results were good. RC6 is installed and ready to go for my next test.
