Amiupdate not finding uppdates

Hello!

I am having some troubble with Amiupdate not finding the AmigaOS system updates.
Thirdparty uppdates from Codebench works fine.

I have tryed to register my 4.1FE as both AmigaOne 500 and Sam 460 if that would be the issue.
Not sure what i could have been doing wrong here to any help would be apprisiated.

I see i do get HTTP transfer error: This operation raised a general error.
No idea what causes it.

Two things come to mind that could be worth checking.

- Do you have the latest version of AmiSSL installed?

- Are you sure that your credentials are correct, i.e. that the user/password you use to log in at the hyperion-entertainment.com website (where you registered your copy of AmigaOS 4.1 FE) are the same as the ones found in the SiteList file in the SYS:System/AmiUpdate/ directory?

I'm not sure what you mean in the first post about registering your copy as both AmigaOne 500 and Sam460 - I believe AmigaOne 500 is just a marketing name for Sam460. And in the log it can be seen that your machine is indeed recognized as a Sam460.

I have double checked the SiteList and even tryed to copy that from my uppdate 6 backup where it worked when i last used this computer.

What i ment was that i unregisterd it on Hyperions registration and swaped just in case that would make a difference.

Have tryed everything i can think of, and allways getting the HTTP transfer error, as i said it works for amiupdate.net but not update.amigaos.net

It sounds to me like your registration has somehow got messed up by your "swap" (still not sure I understand what that actually means). Have you checked that you are still registered for your copy of 4.1 FE for Sam460 on the Hyperion site? If not, try making the registration again.

Sorry for being unclear. But that is what i meant, i have removed the registration and reregisterd it to make sure that the registration wasn't the issue.
i have even removed my other products if they would have interfeared for some reason.
They registration shows up when i go to Pruduct registration.

Okay, then I'm out of ideas.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge about either AmiUpdate itself or the registration system can chime in to help.
