I installed the new NTFS filesysbox software drivers from Amiupdate.
I am trying to create NTFS partitions on a fixed SATA HD (not USB), so these partitions can be read from AmigaOS4 and Ubuntu on the X1000. This means instead of copying duplicate copies of my music, photos, mods, etc, I can have a shared drive accessible from both. Drive is as follows:
- newhd05.png (159.9 KiB) Viewed 2345 times
NTFS partition add:
- newhd14.png (71.25 KiB) Viewed 2345 times
- (82.49 KiB) Downloaded 148 times
When I changed the dosdriver to use l:NTfilesystem3G and reboot, it GR's when trying to format using mkntfs command
I have attached the Crashlog at the bottom of this request (I can't upload it as an attachment for some reason). this happened when trying to format using mkntfs using L:NTfilesystem3G in the DOSDriver mountlist entry. Specifically I added:
Handler = L:NTFileSystem3G
Control = "noatime"
I was using the MorphOs documentation for this driver in the absence of AmigaOs documentation to get to this point. link: http://blubbedev.net/filesysbox/dl/ntfs ... -r4.readme
Maybe I am just missing something - unfortunately I couldn't find any documentation to assist with this setup. Can you please help me to resolve this issue? Thanks.
