Hi,
Today I suddenly got this JXfileSystem request error saying:
DH2
has a blockid error in block 7147648.
Expected was blockid 0x4449424D,
but the block says it is blockid 0x54525354

What to do? You can't run a check/fix on this.
After a few Reread click I do get the message:
restorecachebuffer: Fatal error - cachebuffer is of wrong type!

Re: JXfileSystem error
As already suggested, copy whatever you can from it, then reformat the partition. No recovery is possible.
It might be an idea to use SFS/02 as opposed to JXFS too.

Re: JXfileSystem error
Hi Simon,
I will do just that. Nothing is really lost at it contains programs only.

Re: JXfileSystem error
JFXS, as well as SFS, uses a blocksize of 512. JFXS works really fine here on all of my partitions, but SYS, that is in SFS/02 format.
Yes, JFXS is no longer supported. For AmigaOS 4.2, it's said to have a whole new file format, so watch this space.

@HKvalhe
