Bought a Sam 460ex, advice please on how to get the most out of it

Hi I bought a working used 460ex and I'd like to know how to get the most out of it and how to care for it for keeping it in good working order long term. Any tips welcome.

Easy.

- Use it every day,.
- Adapt the software to your needs.
- Ask on the forums for whatever topic.
- Play games through ScummVM, E-UAE or by other means.
and my personal favourite
- Learn how to script (Arexx, Perl, Python etc.), port or code and stress your machine even more.

But most important of all (and the only reason you should have an Amiga)...enjoy and have fun!

Heh thanks, it's my first amigaone i was a power user (500+, 1200, 4000) back in the day but past fifteen years or so has been UAE only.

But now I have this 460ex (with 4.1FE) I'm keen to ensure I take good care of it, that I optimise it carefully and in particular be aware of any quirks or gotchas owners of this board need to be aware of. I'm not however going to plug lots of things in to it, i mostly want to use it as a SBC and use the onboard features.

Do you have OS 4.1FE Update 1? If not, make sure you update to that.
