At what stage is the support for onboard ethernet of X5000...? For AmigaOS there has been driver for a while, and MorphOS should also have it now with 3.12 update.
I would very much like to free the legacy PCI slot, occupied currently by a RTL8039, for another card...
Onboard ethernet of X5000
Re: Onboard ethernet of X5000
Unfortunately the onboard ethernet isn't supported currently. We are looking for someone who can fix the issue with the onboard ethernet. The A1222 and the X1000 have support for their onboard ethernet.Roland wrote:At what stage is the support for onboard ethernet of X5000...? Re: Onboard ethernet of X5000
To get rid of the PCI adapter you could use a USB to Ethernet adapter for just linux. Thats what i did for now.Roland wrote:At what stage is the support for onboard ethernet of X5000...? For AmigaOS there has been driver for a while, and MorphOS should also have it now with 3.12 update.

Re: Onboard ethernet of X5000
I would prefer some 'internal' solution... Do PCIe ethernet boards generally work with our Linux distros?Skateman wrote: To get rid of the PCI adapter you could use a USB to Ethernet adapter for just linux. Thats what i did for now.

Re: Onboard ethernet of X5000
I have used this adapter before the OS4.1 driver for the onboard X5000 adapter became available.. Also works with linux.
