There is a in the SYS/Documents/IDE drawer of OS4.1 a text file about the LSI53c8xx SCSI-driver.
In that document there is the following statement:
"UBoot has an embedded SCSI driver which also has the same default value for the PCI product code."
My question is simple... Which of the Amiga models produced so far really have this 'embedded driver" in UBoot, and , if I have understood right, can be booted from a SCSI drive, if a compatible controller board is present?

Gregor

Re: LSI53c8xx SCSI-driver and UBoot
My A1 complains that no SCSI card was found whenever it is powered on, so there is a SCSI driver embedded in the A1 UBoot.
Searching for LSI53c8xx on Google found this: http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/vie ... refresh=Go
It describes successful boot from a SCSI drive on an A1XE with a SCSI PCI card.
