ContextMenu and AudioCDs

Post by Amigo1 »

I noticed ContextMenu has some problems with AudioCDs.

Double-clicking on an audio CD and then selecting "Show/All Files" in the context menu does not work. All files are displayed if I select from the Pull-down menus.

I tried various AudioCDs. Same behavior on AmigaOne-XE and Sam440Flex both with Update 6 up-to-date till today May 10th, 2013.

By the way wouldn't it be helpful for bug-reports to integrate a "built xxx" scheme so to differentiate between updates? Each released mini update in update 6 increases the built count displayed in the "About..." window.

That wouldn't work, because users are not (normally) forced to make all the updates in a particular sequence, or at all. So if somebody installs the most recent update, but leaves all the previous ones alone, that system would wrongly have the "built" count of the most recent update.

I can confirm your observation about CM and Audio CDs. There has been a bug report raised on this subject some time ago, and it is reported to be fixed, but I'll add a note that it is not.

Thanks for pointing that out. I came to a similar conclusion just while I was posting this suggestion, as you can see in the Topic I opened specifically for it. :-)
