Re: New kernels
Hi All,
Here is the stable long-term kernel 5.10.228-2 with XZ compressed kernel modules.
Download: github.com
Alternative download link: linux-image-5.10.228-2-X1000_X5000.tar.gz (xenosoft.de)
This kernel has been patched with the dpaa-v2.patch because of an issue with DPAA on Ubuntu 16.04.
It's suitable for old Linux distributions which don't work with the latest kernels for example Ubuntu 10.04.
It's also suitable if you have some issues with the latest kernels.
@Roland
Could you please test this kernel?
@All
Please test it.
Thanks,
Christian

Re: New kernels
Okay thanks. Tested it and it works fine with my Precise. Modules came up as compressed. Confirmed it was kernel version as above. Must have taken ages to compress with XZ.xeno74 wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 8:02 pm Hi All,

Also, I forgot to mention, but this latest LT 5.10.228 kernel build solves the power down issue. The previous build couldn't shut down and would leave system on with a blank screen. Fixed in this build.

Re: New kernels
Hi
After some weeks where my Amigax1000 did not want to start, it suddenly decided to work again.
I then used this to test vmlinux-6.12_rc6 with Debian trixie/sid 32 and it worked fine
Have a nice day

Re: New kernels
Maybe you have to replace the coin cell (button cell) because of the start issue.musa wrote: Sat Nov 09, 2024 10:17 pm Hi
