Problem installing Lubuntu 14.10

Yep. It downloads alright and everything to the full size. It just declares in the initial download that it is smaller (17 mb compared to more than 40).

That's crazy. If I download it from Nexus' dropbox then Iceweasel told me a size of 17.4MB. But on my Debian it has 18.2MB.

I have in mind that the file should be around 18MB, not 17.x. Though, I checked the file on my dropbox account and it can be decompressed without error.

I have also checked the file on amigalinux.org and this one is 43MB in size and and is *not* an ramdisk image but the extracted files from the ramdisk image. That certainly does not work for installing linux.

For those who want to immediately test the image, here is the link to the dropbox (but it won't stay there forever, so Xeno, please copy it again and host it on your site ).

If that is the wrong ramdisk image, i will upload the correct version tonight.

Yes I can confirm that the file you uploaded is 40 somthing mb and reads wrong on the hd and nexus's file is about 18 mb and reads correctly like an archive.

I have downloaded the file from amigalinux.org recently. The size is 17.4MB.

Ok can confirm it is NetSurf. It has lots of irregularities however downloading has never been an issue till now.
