AmigaOS 3.2 Path command option

Missing the option DEFER like we have on the command Assign. Have a few assigns in my user-startup that are pointing to a samba share on my NAS that is mounted when WB loads and would like to have Path to be able to do the same. Like this

Assign Devpac: NAS1:Devpac/ DEFER
Path Devpac: ADD DEFER

Found a few sites with the information that I can use option QUIET but it's not working.

QUIET - If specified, Path does not display requesters for volumes that are not currently mounted.

Not working with option QUIET. I get "Insert disc xxx:" when using it
