I haven't been able to participate in this group for a long time. My X5000 stopped connecting with the internet and I haven't been able to figure out how to remedy that yet. My mind has quit working, apparently due to age. (Body too.)

Thanks Christian .

RC3 of kernel 6.16 working for me.(Tested with Void)

Regards
Julian

PS :

considered adding builtin support for the newer sound blaster cards .
could be the new choice for dual boot and triple boot systems .

Hi Julian,

Many thanks for testing. :-)

CONFIG_SND_HDA_CODEC_REALTEK is already configured as kernel module in the e5500 kernel config.

Link: e5500_defconfig --github.com

It is not configured in the X1000 kernel config.

I will add it to the X1000 kernel config as soon as possible.

Cheers,
Christian

Hi Christian

Yes I am aware.
When quick testing the kernels though I am usually too lazy to install modules. :D
