Tested 6.16 RC1 on Debian and soon Mint. Working fine since installing. But had to wait for Hyperion forums server to be fixed before posting.

Hi All,

Linus Torvalds has released the RC2 of kernel 6.16 for testing.

I have compiled it for X1000 and e5500 machines (X5000/20, X5000/40, Mirari, and QEMU VMs).

Download and further information: github.com

Please test the kernels.

Thanks,
Christian

have tested kernel 6.16.0-rc2 with Debian. Seems to work ok. But after an extended period of time, perhaps about an hour, it suddenly resets again.

Thank you for testing. :-) Have you seen any error messages in the log files?
