New kernels

I successfully tested the X5000 final Linux kernel 6.10.0 with Adélie Linux 1.0-beta5 (20240623) in a virtual e5500 QEMU PowerPC machine.



Please test the final kernel 6.10.0.

Stumped again. All I could find to download was:

linux-0c3836482481200ead7b416ca80c68a29cfdaabd.tar.gz

Maybe what I got when I dearchived it is really all 6.10 final stuff but I sure don't know what to do with it.

I tried again. This time I found something called linu-6.10 to download. Funny name, I thought, but at least there was no rc- anything. I dearchived it and hopefully started copying it to /lib/modules, but soon it was telling me it had 27 hours to go. Went hunting again, and finally found a linux-image-6.10.0-...
and 6-10 final is working fine in fienix. (But not in adelie.)

Strange. Does Adélie still work with the RC7 of kernel 6.10?

I compiled the alpha2 of kernel 6.11 for the X1000 and X5000 today.

Please test the DPAA ethernet because there are some DPAA updates included in the alpha2.

I noticed too late that alpha2 was ready and only tested alpha1 in that weird but sort of fun adelie:

I wasn't able to post the screen shot from adelie; I had to save it on my thumb drive and come back to fienix.
