Input of AOS4.1FE A1222 [solved]

Post by gdridi »

Hello,

I use a keymap (arabic_int) for which I have defined a CustomCharSets named "X-ESCII". I declared it in the custom-character-sets file, at the end.

With an AOS4.1FEu0 that works fined on my SAM440ep.
Now, than I switched to AOS4.1FEa1222 on my A1222, it lacks some key translation. Alternate and Shift on ´4´ etc

I saw a NewLib directory : is it where to defined my X-ESCII charset again ?
The X-ESCII file is 1024 long as the other and contains only identities.

Then I select the associated keymap (arabic_int contains CHARSET=X-ESCII) on the input prefs.
But it seems to be lock on ISO-8859-15 ?

I was sticking to ISO-8859-15
In the Prefs/Locale

To solve use ´french’ or ´english’ (ISO-8859-1) without ISO-8859-XX after, in the Locale Preferences program.

Perhaps the locale preference has to be unwound from the output because changing the locale charset affects the output Text (printing) even if the output font was tagged with something different i.e ‘X-ESCII´ here.

Another Hint: some charset positions are declared in UNICODE in the ISO-8859-15 charset, starting at key ´4’ ALT and SHIFT-ALT ; weird !
