Seen that before..

You could try to use a command in the terminal like tar -xvf (nameofthezip.zip) and pres enter

FYI: journalctl -k -b -1 gives logs from previous boot.

@Dave

Yay! Thanks.

@Christian

I bet I didn't do what you meant.

fienix@fienix:~$ journalctl -k -b -1
Hint: You are currently not seeing messages from other users and the system.
Users in groups 'adm', 'systemd-journal' can see all messages.
Pass -q to turn off this notice.

fienix@fienix:~$ journalctl -k -b -1
It was only a general info to get a log from a previous boot.

Another one of the problems I keep getting:

gzip: /home/fienix/Downloads/linux-image-6.5-X1000_X5000.tar_1.gz: not in gzip format

I tried several times, from Eolie in fienix6.

I guess I'll try from ArcticFox. Eolie refuses to remember my Hyperion password. I've had to look it up so many times I finally memorized it even in the depths of dementia.

OK, ArcticFox got it right and the kernel is now in "3.0 GB Volume" waiting for me to reboot.

Hi All,

The merge window for 6.6 has been started and here is the first alpha for testing.

New:
Download: linux-image-6.6-alpha1-X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Image

Please test the alpha1.

Thanks,

Whee, just like the good old days! Except I forgot to editenv fienix6 before restarting the first time.

And I can't load the System Monitor screenshot the way I used to. :-(
