Seen that before..
You could try to use a command in the terminal like tar -xvf (nameofthezip.zip) and pres enter

FYI: journalctl -k -b -1 gives logs from previous boot.

Another one of the problems I keep getting:
gzip: /home/fienix/Downloads/linux-image-6.5-X1000_X5000.tar_1.gz: not in gzip format
I tried several times, from Eolie in fienix6.
I guess I'll try from ArcticFox. Eolie refuses to remember my Hyperion password. I've had to look it up so many times I finally memorized it even in the depths of dementia.
OK, ArcticFox got it right and the kernel is now in "3.0 GB Volume" waiting for me to reboot.
