Update with Rsync

I want to know if using the command rsync between my FIENIX-DISK partition on my USB Key and my FIENIX-DISK partition on my hard drive is a good idea to update my system ?

Rsync isn’t suitable for updating Linux distributions.

So for moving to Fienix 5.1 how can i do ? there is no "install Fienix" on the desktop as in ubuntu.
I want to test this version before mowing to 6.1.

You can copy it with dd.
