Hi All,

Here is the third alpha of kernel 5.17 for testing.

New:

• PowerPC updates 5.17-1 with PASEMI updates
• X1000: pas_pci_init_v3 patch because of the new PASEMI updates
• XFS fixes
• Sound updates (including updates for HD audio and USB audio)
• Linux Git log
• Phoronix articles, reviews and news stories covering Linux 5.17

Hi All,

I released the alpha4 of kernel 5.17 for the X1000 and X5000 today.

New:

• Sharing host files with the QEMU/KVM HV guest with the virtio-9p-pci device and with the Plan9 file system 9P (CONFIG_NET_9P_VIRTIO, CONFIG_9P_FS, ...)
• KVM updates (including PowerPC KVM updates)
• exFAT updates
• Linux Git log
• Phoronix articles, reviews and news stories covering Linux 5.17
