I have great news! I updated my ubuntu MATE 16.10 today. There was an update of systemd.

If you want to use the stable longterm kernel 4.1.32 with ubuntu MATE 16.10, please update systemd.

Cheers,
Christian

I can see that it is possible to download zesty-serverpowerpc.iso. Is it possible to install from this iso. which initrd file should I use. I've tried with the one provided on the CD but it freezes when it tries to find my hd.
Happy New Year to all

Many thanks for testing the stable longterm kernel 4.1.37.
Unfortunately I haven't tried the Zesty ISO yet. I only upgraded my ubuntu MATE 16.10 to 17.04.
Instructions: (X)(L)ubuntu (MATE) 17.04 Zesty Zapus

It is not possible to upgrade any moreAll software sources seems to be gone) And the only iso I could find was the zesty-serverpowerpc.iso.
It seems that ubuntu ppc is about to be history![]()
Therefore, I thought that it was possible to get zesty that way.
