I originally thought the bug only related to Dopus4 when button commands failed when Snoopy was running and contacted Colin on the Dopus4 Yahoo ML. Even though I gave him the version number of Snoopy I was using when he asked for it, he didn't mention a newer version. Maybe it was because of NDA and he needed approval; don't know. He did find a bug in Dopus4 that isn't exposed in normal operation which I fixed and committed to the Dopus4 repository. When I discovered that the Snoopy bug was not exclusive to Dopus4, I told him I would report it here in these forums. Fortunately, it's been resolved now and that's all that counts.
We all get frustrated at times & forgetful, so save negative posts for the other forums, they don't belong here.
If I hadn't gotten everyone's attention here, some of you would still have been advising users to employ the bugged publicly available Snoopy to diagnose problems they're having with FE. Sorry if I've offended anyone.

P.S. The OS4 Dopus4 included on the FE disk is really old. There are several newer versions at:

When I run AmiUpdate and Scan, I get a Ringhio requester informing me that AmiUpdate "can't connect to update.amigaos.net". Other users have reported the same problems at Amigans.net.

The Snoopy update is not on the AmigaOS update server but on the 3rd party one:

There is a DNS issue with update.amigaos.net which we are fixing. Shouldn't be long now.
