Bug in Prefs/Workbench 53.12 (17.12.2014)

There is a bug in Prefs/Workbench 53.12 (17.12.2014) the Cache path is not read from the prefsfile.
- open Prefs/Workbench
- select the Icons tab, then the Previews tab
- Select a path in "Cache path:", I used Thumbnail_Cache:
- press save
- the selected path is written to the prefsfile and will be used by the workbench
- open Prefs/Workbench again
- select the Icons tab, then the Previews tab
- the "Cache path:" shows no path set
- press save
- the empty path is written to the prefsfile

BTW:
Is there a way to set the maximum number of entries in the cache to "unlimited" or "use the complete diskspace because the cache has a partition by itself"?
Zero really seems to limit the number of entries to zero...

i am not able to reproduce this.
the path is kept there. can you maybe sent me your prefs file per mail?
i then check (if possible) and can open a BZ entry.

added an entry to the dev "wishlist" which is of course no guarantee that it ever will happen

got it, reproduced it and created a BZ entry!
