I have vmlinux-3.12 which comes with a config: kernel_3.12.0.config, and a patch: nemo_3.12.0.patch
Do I have to apply that patch in some way (how) first or do I copy them all onto the cf card and hope that the ubuntu remix will do any required manipulation during hard drive installation.?
Presumably the kernel ends up named vmlinux-3.12.0, but does it ? One has to put the name in a CFE argument. Thanks for any help.

nemo patch
Re: nemo patch
This patch is not necessary to boot the kernel. If you want to compile a new 3.12 kernel, then you have to apply the patch.Noel Fuller wrote:I have vmlinux-3.12 which comes with a config: kernel_3.12.0.config, and a patch: nemo_3.12.0.patch
