I removed support for the SM502 because I could not get the X-org stuff to work only console.
The dual console was messing up the Radeon console.
USB audio devices work so something like this should be cool for Linux audio .

Will try it ASAP, but I just have only internal SM502 sound not PCI/PCI-E soundcard.
BTW does 3.14rc it support internal SM502 sound ? If not, what is needed to try to enable/add it?

Installation went fine, but upon restarting to load debian from HDD it didn't load, just a black screen.
Copying uImage 3.14.0rc7 over 3.14.0 in /boot (and copied lib/modules too) and restarting again machine worked fine I have debian on screen.
Updated to 3.14.0rc8 and again everything booting fine.
Downloaded 3.14.0 and copied over "old" uImage and /lib/modules boots again fine system. ¿:-/

Will try another reinstallation from scratch to see if I wasn't lucky or the ISO has something wrong when installing on SAM460ex.

EDIT1: did another try (without desktop & base, just plain console linux to make it fast) and upon first reboot system again black, then did a second reboot and everything is fine, so maybe some memory trashing causing such problem.
Note to myself: after installing linux on SAM460ex better poweroff mahine instead of reboot (or try a 2nd reboot)
CONCLUSION: CD installation on SAM460ex is fine and kernel 3.14.0 works fine too.
