Noticed currently that there is a re-compiled version of the render.library (a re-compiled version of the latest 40.8 version), where one of the 3 render.library has been re-compiled in ANSI C natively for AmigaOS4.
Wouldn't it be better if this OS4 native render.library actually was part of AmigaOS4, instead of looking this up every time when doing an AmigaOS update, for instance?
It could either be a render.library or as a shared object, unless there are plans for better render technologies to use for AmigaOS4.
So to understand, it's not a problem but rather a curiousity of why the library is not a standard part of AmigaOS4, to say.
You can find the library at OS4Depot.net

Re: OS4 native render.library
It's a third party library. Probably one that isn't currently maintained.
