Crash with ContextMenus and "dead" softlinks

I get a reproduceable crash using ContextMenus on a "dead" softlink.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a file called "another-file" in RAM:: (text file with anything in it will do)
2) Makelink SOFT any-file to another-file (any-file softlink will be created nect to the original file)
3) Delete "another-file", so only the linked file will stay in RAM:
4) Have ContextMenus installed and right-click on the link to bring up the menu

It will crash ("Ignore DSI Error" is possible though) with the error logged below

Can you reproduce it only in RAM: or also on other filesystems? If so, which ones?

Sorry, yes of course.
The initial remark about the crash was for a SFS partition (actually in an installed SDK where a linked file was killed by a broken installer), others i need to check, but honestly i wouldnt wonder if it will happen on FFS and JXFS aswell, because my tummy tells me its not a FS problem

The RAM: part was just an easy way to reproduce it for everyone who wants to try.

I understand. Although when links are involved, it's always best to make sure which filesystem you are dealing with, as they behave differently.

Anyway, the current betas of all three components (ContextMenus, ram-handler and makelink) are different from the public ones (partly quite different), so all I can do - after checking on my beta system - is to reassure you that this will not be a problem once they are released. Such a "dead" softlink will simply be ignored by (the current beta version of) ContextMenus, so the Intuition menu shows instead.

Now, whether this will be the final behaviour, and when (even if) that release will happen, I am in no position to comment on.
