I make a BZ-enchaincement on amiupdate bugtracker 2-3 days ago, so Rigo aware of it for sure. Number of entry is "77", but i do not know how to list all the entrys on that amiupdate bugtracker page, so to find out it just type in search field "auto", and at end you will see entry 77, then tick on it, and press "view".For the next release is it possible to add an option for the auto-scan ?
Still a bit annoying to manually press the "scan" button anytime you start AmiUpdate, expecially when starting from the Workbench menu (not so logical as when you start it from WB menu it means you want check for updates).
In this case a new option in prefs (for example) would be nice to have
AmiUpdate - Docky glitch

Indeed i found it with the title:

Thanks Romanadd a "Perform Self-Scan when started manually" option to the prefs

Re: AmiUpdate - Docky glitch
The docky glitch, where the docky anim icon wouldn't scale, is now gone with the recent (yesterday's?) AmiDock update. Now I have the AmiDock status anim in my title bar's mini dock, nice!
Thanks to devs for this update!

Really? It doesn't work for me

It's still too big and won't scale down to 50% (my setting).
It's set to be placed into "Place AppDockies in:" and either way (bigger or smaller) AmiUpdates Animation Docky icon stays the same size
What am i doing wrong?
Re: AmiUpdate - Docky glitch
Don't have problem with docky icon, did you check both Workbench and AmiDock prefs regarding icon scaling?

What does the Workbench icon scaling have to do with AmiDock icon scaling?Phantom wrote:Don't have problem with docky icon, did you check both Workbench and AmiDock prefs regarding icon scaling?
Both scale icons, but not the animated docky from AmiUpdate, it stays at 100%
@dan.hutch
Could you please tell me your settings in AmiDock, especially the settings you use for your MiniDock?
My AmiDock version says
AmiDock 53.35 (29.12.2010)
which i find strange because it's "old" although updated (i hope) and AmiUpdate doesn't give me any updates for it anymore
Re: AmiUpdate - Docky glitch
@Raziel
No problem, my mini dock for app dockies is:
- icons only/no names
- horizontal
- always background
- snapped to top
- pop-up tiny
- icon scale factor 45%
- min size 8, max size 256
- borderless/transparent

Exchange reports same version number here, odd as you say, AmiUpdate should therefore still be trying to update unless its using date over version number maybe. I had the same mini dock beofe and the AmiUpdate icon definately didn't iconify properly (always at 100%) so must have been a bug fix in the AmiDock update.AmiDock 53.35 (29.12.2010)

Re: AmiUpdate - Docky glitch
53.35 was in fact created on 29.12.2010, but hasn't been released publicly before now. So no need to worry, your update was okay.dan.hutch wrote:@RazielExchange reports same version number here, odd as you say, AmiUpdate should therefore still be trying to update unless its using date over version number maybe.AmiDock 53.35 (29.12.2010)

Re: AmiUpdate - Docky glitch
I don't get it, it doesn't scale here
I copied dan.hutch settings, even adding a new dock to match his...still the animated "Hide" state of AmiUpdate stays the same size, no matter what i do.
What else could it be?
I have AmiUpdate 2.24 because the .25 still crashes on start, but i doubt the scaling was introduced with 2.25?
Help? Please?
@dan.hutch
Would you be so kind and send me your ENVARC:sys/AmiDock.amiga.com.xml file?
Maybe there is still one setting i miss?
Thank you
