Hi, just managed to update AmiUpdate to version 2.25, as well as updating the Workbench.library, but here is the problem.
Trying to run AmiUpdate 2.25 further causes a GR message and crashes when trying to ignore the DSI.
I run AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6 on AmigaOne 500.
One alternative is to rollback to version 2.24 of AmiUpdate, until a 2.26 is released that fixes this bug.

Re: AmiUpdate 2.25 crash
I get the same on mine but I use an X1000.
On my rollback it takes me to 2.22 though and not 2.24 like you say is yours.
Wonder why yours is 2.24 and mine is not rolling back to that?
Or is 2.24 no longer being used as an updater to those running 2.22?

Amiupdate's rollback feature revets to the version you had installed before. It seems you updated from 2.22 straight to 2.25, and therefore as 2.23 and 2.24 wern't installed on your system the rollback takes you back to 2.22.amigasociety wrote:I get the same on mine but I use an X1000.

2.24 works fine on the X1000 if you can find a copy... but if 2.22 is working OK don't worry too much.

Re: AmiUpdate 2.25 crash
I guess there lies a danger of not downloading and having as backup on 2nd drive the actual installer for these things versus letting an online updater doing it. These middle versions that one may not have updated to, like in my case, become lost unless there is some site I am not familiar with that offers these for download separate?
2.22 seems OK but still, nice to have most recent stable versions.
