HI altogether,
does anybody know how other screenmodes besides PAL ones can be achieved within EUAE-amigfx?
I'm using an AOS3 installation with Picasso96 but only with a uaegfx monitor which makes host screenmodes (i.e. AOS4 ones) available within EUAE when using the SDL version of EUAE.
Now I'm wondering what I need to do/change/add in order to get GFX card screenmodes available within EUAE-amigfx? Can anybody help out here? Will I have to setup organize some monitor files for Picasso96 inside AOS3 (where I also installed Picasso96)?
Inside the configuraion I set a 68040, 2MB Chip RAM, 128MB ZIII RAM, 32MB GFX card RAM. I also set the widths and heights (windowed as well as full screen) to the full resolution of my monitor. But only the horizontal resolution is used to its fullest, the vertical one not. If necessary I can post my entire .uaerc as well as .uaerc_runinuae here.
Many thanks in advance and
Best Regards
René
GFX card screenmodes in EUAE-amigfx - how?
Re: GFX card screenmodes in EUAE-amigfx - how?
Yep i just want to open such question for myself, but more as a feature request for RIU instead !
Would be nice to have an easy way to set higher resolutions, using Workbench at 640*480 still a bit limited expecially when (hope soon) we will have a proper JIT support in UAE
Chris ?

Maybe the appropriate part of EUAE SDL version with uaegfx could be ported to the amigfx version?
BTW: Would creating a Picasso96 monitor file inside devs/monitors within the AOS3 installation help out here today?

Re: GFX card screenmodes in EUAE-amigfx - how?
I've tried once or twice to get Picasso96 screenmodes working inside E-UAE (amigfx), but have had no luck. Sadly this stuff is not documented at all, so it is hard to even know which files are required to be added to Workbench 3.1.
