The PTP-Tool use the Exif-Thumbnail-Preview-Picture to show this inside the Browser-Window.
A very usefull option would be to use this Exif-Embedded-Thumbnail-Picture to save it directly as .info (icon) for every transferred Jpeg-Photo!
In my case the Exif-Thumbnail have 160x120 pixel size. Its ideal to use for Photo-Preview when you browsing your Workbench folder the traditional way.
And one big plus is that its very fast, because you just have to extract the exif-thumbail picture without the need for resampling. This will benefit specially on slow systems like my sam440ep.

I agree, that's a nice idea.fingus wrote:The PTP-Tool use the Exif-Thumbnail-Preview-Picture to show this inside the Browser-Window.

It seems quite big for an icon, though, even on a large-resolution Workbench. I'd suggest there should also be an option to set the size of the saved icon (in pixels, x/y).In my case the Exif-Thumbnail have 160x120 pixel size.
