Hi. As you probably know i made the hd-rec video with x1000.

It was not easy using all possible tools for conversion, clipping, subtitle (parts) etc. However i did had problems transfering video files. Masstorage works on pictures and on some videos but often when i trying to transfer bigger video files the camera would just shutoff and the transfer fails. I tried to set a config in the camera to not go into standby but that didnt help. So i have to power off and on the camera again. Its not my camera, i just borrowed it to take photos at my cuz wedding so i dont have it here to try out. I can ofcourse borrow it later if needed.
Anyway just wanted to see if others have this kind of problems and maybe usefull info for hyperion. Here is the screenshot on the failure.

Hi kicko, I assume you are copying it to a SFS2 or JXFS partition correct? These are the only FS that support files >4GB
If so then have you tried copying it to a memory card then putting the memory card into a 7 in 1 (I have a cheap Dick Smith interface that has always works - I don't know why) transfer device and copying to the Amiga HD once that mounts.
I haven't had any problems copying larger files but I hadn't done alot of this kind of thing in general.

I did copy to an JXFS partition. I dont have the camera here but i think it would work if i connected the memorycard to a memcard reader. At least in theory

I've had no problems copying large files using a standard usb card reader (generic Dick Smiths).kicko wrote:I did copy to an JXFS partition. I dont have the camera here but i think it would work if i connected the memorycard to a memcard reader. At least in theory
