Cheers,
Christian

Hi AlfredOne,AlfredOne wrote: Yes, only on the card with Radeon RV730 chipset.
Card with Tahiti XT (Radeon HD 7970) chipset is not hw accelerated.
Both using "radeon" driver.
Yes, I do.xeno74 wrote:Hi AlfredOne,AlfredOne wrote: Yes, only on the card with Radeon RV730 chipset.

Thanks for your reply!Do you have hardware 3D acceleration with your Radeon HD 7970 on OS4.1? (Warp3D/Warp3D NOVA)

I do have Hardware acceleration on 4.1 with Radeon HD 7970 and Radeon R9 270X. But with both cards "MATE Tweak" does only show "Marco (no compositor) and Marco (Software Compositor). With the Radeon AMD VX 5450 graphich card I used to have installed, I could select "Compiz" but the whole system felt much more sluggish.xeno74 wrote:Hi AlfredOne,AlfredOne wrote: Yes, only on the card with Radeon RV730 chipset.

Tested on Radeon HIS 4670 (RV730 chipset - driver 'radeon' WITH hw 3D accelleration): loading in 13 seconds , perfect fluid game.xeno74 wrote: @All
Could you please test SuperTuxKart 0.8.1-3 on Linux with the Radeon which supports hardware 3D acceleration?
Download: supertuxkart-0.8.1-3-altivec-linux-glibc2.13-ppc.tar.gz
You can start it with ./run_game.sh in the SuperTuxKart directory.
Many thanks for testing!AlfredOne wrote: Tested on Radeon HIS 4670 (RV730 chipset - driver 'radeon' WITH hw 3D accelleration): loading in 13 seconds , perfect fluid game.
