Hi All,
I am looking for someone who can test the cross compiled
RC5 of kernel 4.6 with a Radeon HD7xxx or newer. I cross compiled this kernel on a x86_64 machine and I am not sure if it works with some Radeon HD7XXX or newer graphics cards.
Could you please test the RC5 with your Radeon HD7XXX or newer?

Stanglnator has recently tested the
RC5 with his Radeon R7 250X.
It works with software 3D acceleration.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE test this kernel. I don't know if it boots.

Stanglnator tested the RC6 yesterday.
It boots with his Radeon R7 250X.

Could you please test the RC6 with more graphics cards?
Additionally please test the P.A. Semi Ethernet because of the reported problems in the other thread.

This test is brought to by Kernel 4.6 rc6 in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my Radeon HD 6670. glxgears looking good. Since installing Enhancer Plus package in the AOS side, I will post back after installing my R7 250X. 3D acceleration, eh? I'm holding you to that.
P.A Semi Ethernet working!!
I will give you results with Ununtu Mate 16.04 with my R7 250X card installed. I'm hoping that once I put that GPU back in, I won't go back to the 6670.

Hi Christian!
4.6 rc6 with Radeon HD R7 250X Ubuntu 12.04 LTS at work! Glxgears went from the 5000 frame range to high 400 frames range, but it works!
Pointer ghosts a bit when making selections and moving around, but it works. P.A. Semi Ethernet works! Yahoo!!

Next will be Mate 16.04 minus the 6670 card. R7 250X from now on....
