Kernel 4.1

PLEASE test the kernel 4.1 final. This kernel don't boot on zzd10h's X1000. I want to know why. I tested the kernel 4.1 final successfully on my A1-X1000 last Monday.

I booted Mate 15.04 and Debian 8 . Both systems boot fine but Debian has some problems with loading modules. There is no error sign and I can't manually load modules after boot.The problem is not only under linux 4.1
No problems with modules under Mate.

I booted mate 15.04 and Debian 8. Both get kernel panic. Here is a screen shoot from Debian.

Me, I have "root=/dev/sda4 rw"

edit ; just replaced ro to rw solves my problem.

I had similar problems with Gnome and Mate installed, when I installed Debian 8. I did finally an installation only with Xfce. Lightdm would not start so I had to log in via ctrl alt f1 and log in as root. Then enter X -configure and copy the created xorg.cong to / etc / X11 /. Then enter service lightdm start and you should be able to log in via lightdm.

Linus Torvalds released the first bug fix version of kernel 4.1 yesterday. I cross compiled it for our AMIGA one X1000 today.
