Hi All,

Many thanks for testing the alpha1 and alpha2. Here is the alpha3 of kernel 4.20/5.0 for the X1000 and X5000.

Download: vmlinux-4.20-alpha3-AmigaOne_X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Please test it.

Thanks,
Christian

Ahh come on! Not fair I'm working against the international dateline, 12000km delivery and night versus day! Geez Skateman do you sit on Xeno74's doorstep waiting for a release! -:)

Alpha 3 all up and working albeit late-:)

Great work as usual Xeno74 and Skateman I do appreciate your interest as well! Now I am going to sit here all night and weekend to get in first... nah not really.

Hey guys ... testing is not about being first, it's about being best, i.e. most destructive :-)

Best regards,

Niels

Niels you are right. :-)
Then again, replacing the kernel, checking the hardware and mostly used programs should not take that long.
The actual testing happens when using the system for a longer time, so in the days to come. Not something where Christian has to wait for.
The main issues with this build remain. DPAA Ethernet still broken, and in my case no suitable ATI drivers for the southern island chips. (not kernel related)
