Resetting screenmode prefs
I swapped out my AmigaOne X1000 stock Radeon 6850 card with a Radeon 7850. However, when entering my new screenmode.prefs manually I entered 1920x1200, when I should have entered 1920 x 1080. My Dell 24" monitor cannot display 1920 x 1200 and as a result cannot display anything but an error message ...

Re: X1000 Monitor goes into sleep mode-solved
OK, been a long time since I addressed this issue, but happily the problem was solved.
My X has a good Radeon card in it (6870) but apparently there have been a lot of fan issues with it, and a dying fan motor appearded to be my issue.
I started timing the display screen blankings. They went like ...

Re: X1000 Monitor goes into sleep mode
Update. I have the Radeon 6870 card, with two DVI connectors. I attached an identical Dell 24" monitor on second port with brand new cable. After 3-4 minutes both went out. I was running AmigaAMP at the time for "activity". I opened case, unscrewed card and resat it, though it appeared to be in fine ...

Re: X1000 Monitor goes into sleep mode
Even with screenblanker disabled it still goes into Power Save mode in about 2 minutes. I got another monitor of the exact same model and will swap 'em tomorrow to see if the problem is monitor or X1000 sourced. More then

Re: X1000 Monitor goes into sleep mode
Thanks for replying Andy. It may indeed have something to do with Screen Blanker prefs. First to be accurate, the monitor actually is a Dell 2313H, and the message is "Power Save Mode". This occurs during activity.
I check my prefs and Screen Blanker was set to 600. I thought it might be smart to ...

X1000 Monitor goes into sleep mode
Recently I took my X1000 to high school (where I am a technology teacher-ah, the irony!) and displayed the X at "Technology Night", where it was a big hit.
However after coming home a new problem has surfaced that never existed before I transported it back and forth...the X1000 boots fine and ...

X1000 won't boot after FE
I am 100% sure this is my fault.
I successfully installed and booted FE. But it seemed slower because I set my partitions to 4096 block size. So I reinstalled and somehow blew up my boot partition (CFE?). I should mention that FE installs correctly on my system partition, with no error messages in ...

Re: DEVS:Mountlist-SOLVED
Thanks very much guys. I attempted to copy my Update 5 recovery disk to DH0: and while that worked, I experienced some OS issues (inability to clean up window by name etc) so I bit the bullet and followed Dan's suggestion on formatting and doing a clean install.
I formatted DH0: reinstalled Update ...

DEVS:Mountlist-SOLVED
Looks like I have lost the file or deleted it for my X1000. I was attempting to fix an AmiDock issue where I could not longer edit the dock and self-caused further issues. Could someone please post the standard X1000 DEVS: Mountlist file please in text?
