Workbench some things do not work. That is when I ...

Re: OS4.1 Update 4 fails to install on uA1c
Neils,
Thanks for the info. Yes, there is an assign for sobjs: but although libz.so.1.2.3 is there, there is no libz.so. I decided that maybe the easiest thing to do was to reinstall OS4.1 update 1 and go from there so that everything would be as it should be. This has worked, and the install of ...

Re: System locks up shortly after booting
OK. I have some new information. After a clean install of updates 1, 2, and 3, and having made no changes to anything, the system boots up on my uA1c and is very stable. It will sit there and run until the screen blanker kicks in. It reboots just fine and does not lock up.

How do I change my password?
I am a new member and would like to change my password from the one that was assigned to me to one that will match my password on the main Hyperion site, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Help?

Re: System locks up shortly after booting
The only docky that I had added was the one for OWB which I dragged onto the toolbar. Yes, the default screen blanker is also running in its default mode. I'll give both of those items some attention and see what happens. Although, I would have thought that if the default screen blanker was involved ...

System locks up shortly after booting
For the past year or so I have had a problem with my uA1c in which shortly after a reboot the system locks up. I usually notice this by the fact that the pointer freezes. When this happens a three finger reboot does not work. The good news is that if the system is up and running for say five minutes ...
