Fienix desktop in the virtual e5500 QEMU machine
Great!
In which host is the VM running?
Is it running purely software emulated on an Intel based machine,
software emulated on a PowerPC,
or running naively with KVM on a PowerPC?
I gave Fienix a try on our development board based on the NXP T2080 CPU (e6500) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v66P2HaH4M0
I have installed Fienix on a compact flash, then used the onboard SATA with the following adapter https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Compact-Memory-Serial-Converter ...
I have tried installing Ubuntu MATE 16.04 using your latest ISO on my Sam460ex. First time I had a kernel crash during installation, the second time all went just fine. The second time I opened the case, might have a heating problems as the CPU does not have a fan. Rebooted and MATE was ...

I have finally managed to obtain the serial debug.

@Hans What do you mean by saying "you may need to use the debug version to get useful info"? There's a debug version of the driver. The file is RadeonHD.chip.debug, but you do need to make sure that it's the same version as your RadeonHD.chip driver (I'm not sure if that one gets automatically ...
