Re: Rear USB ports on A1XE
Re: USB. I used to use an old flat panel with basic USB hubs, and my mouse was directly in the rear USB port with my keyboard in the display's USB port. I now have another display unit and a Dlink USB hub. These little changes may be why I sometimes get a keyboard disconnect, where the keyboard ...

Re: asl filerequest keyboard input
Yeah, thanks. When in OP I said "by clicks" I most likely based this on having pressed shift and tab and only then clicking.

Please detail all your actions step by step from the very start (including which program you started from which directories you tried to browse etc.

Re: asl filerequest keyboard input
Try to activate the File input field. Keyboard control of the list only works while the cursor is in the file field.
Well, if I enter a directory into the directory field and press enter, the highlight bar does still move by the cursor keys. Typing more will not do anything, enter will not do ...

Concerning asl.library version 53.49:
The file requesters seem alright as long as the directory isn't changed. After you do change it, be it by clicks or typing, the enter and escape keys no longer work. Though 'rcommand k' does work for cancel.
Sure, it's intended for pointing devices but I ...

Re: FKey +-
Looks like minus is FKey's special control character. If you define a hot key with the following key sequence, numpad's minus key should work: NUMPAD --
To make the main keyboard's minus key to work, try this key sequence: --
Maybe one of the developers can shed more light on this matter ...

FKey +-
I can make a hotkey with both plain + and numpad + . I can use neither plain - nor numeric key - . There's probably a good reason for this?
edit: on a PC keyboard the plain - is near rcommand on some keymaps, but this consideration doesn't apply to the upper right corner minus.

Re: dvd-ram
Thanks PJS and tonyw too... I never thought to use "dvd+rw" dosdriver before and that is why it didn't even have the correct tooltypes.
edit: I could write about 7 MiB onto the disk with SFS before it started spewing read errors. This happened both with PIO and UDMA transfer. Looks like ...

Re: dvd-ram
I have never been able to mount DVD+RW (or DVD-RW), because Mount says there isn't enough memory. I tried to decrease buffers but it doesn't help.
