Hi,
I’ve been out of the loop for a while and am just now trying to get back into things, so forgive my silly question :) But since this is the current kernel, it seems to be the best place to post my question without starting an unnecessary thread. What’s the current state of ppc Radeon support ...

Re: AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
Lesson learned - don’t use Candi. :)
I tested every hardware connection in the computer and then throughout the day tried reproducing the issue - /with/ Candi running, and without. My results were 100% of the time with Candi running = download issues, and without, no issues. So in my case I can ...

Re: AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
Hey folks,
Hopefully this can help someone else...I seem to have found the problem. Throughout the day today I’ve been able to 100% successfully reproduce the issue, both failure and success modes. The issue, it seems, is that when I have the CANDI animated background running, downloads ...

Re: AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
I spoke too soon. Downloads are freezing randomly wherever I’m trying to download from - os4depot, any random internet site...very frustrating.

Re: AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
Ok. I think I may know the issue.
AmiSphere downloads are consistently failing. This doesn't happen directly downloading from websites, even very large files, so AmiSphere must be killing connections for some reason.
Would love to get all that software I paid for.

Re: AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
Hi, thanks for the help :) It looks like file transfers just die frequently, without explanation.
My System partition is SFS 1.293
Work is same
It’s worth mentioning the file xfers die when saving to RAM: also...very strange. Perhaps it’s just a network issue? Is there something I should use vs the ...

Re: [fixed] New X5000 boots to white screen
Interesting!
So now that I no longer need to go to the early boot menu, I can boot directly with the KVM plugged in and switched to the X5000. However, this would really frustrate efforts to also run MorphOS/linux, so I guess this can just be my OS4 machine :)
Very strange, though. Perhaps the way ...

AmigaOne X5000 file system and download issues
Hey friends,
I have a new X5000 that I’m itching to play with but I am running into a handful of frustrating issues.
First I had problems booting, which I was able to resolve. Now my issues are mainly twofold:
edit - 2 feels fixed by reinstalling the OS. Issue 1 below persists and is very ...

Re: New X5000 boots to white screen
Figured it out, mostly :)
1 - uBoot does /not/ like KVM switches. I got a standalone USB keyboard and mouse and disconnected the KVM and am now able to access early boot menu.
2 - Booted USB recovery and realized there were no hard drives (!?) - took computer apart and re-seated SATA cable, which ...
