Yes, that's what I thought too (compatibility), but for some reason, I can't access my external HDD. (See here.)ssolie wrote:You can use your 2Tb HDD with your X1000 right now. Re: Welcome First Contact customers
So, those 2 blue USB ports on top will be USB3.0 ports when drivers are ready, right ?kilaueabart wrote:My version with two would-be-USB3 ports on top [...]

[HD 6870 1Gb] screens.prefs and modepro.pref
Hello,
I'm trying to set the right screens for some of my old 68k apps.
Can someone using the Radeon HD 6870, and confortable with screen settings, send me his screens.prefs file (and modepro.pref if possible) so that I can compare and fine tune my own screens settings ?

Thanks, but I finally bought cheap speakers. I'll buy something better later.

Directing returned code to NIL (SOLVED)
Sorry if this has already been signaled.
One of my DOS scripts opens a shell window showing the return code, but it should not (it doesn't on OS3).
The command doing this is:
rx >NIL: SpamFryer.rexx
Same problem after extracting archive using the contextual menu : a shell window opens with ...

Re: Transfer A4000 HD to X1000
To find out, you'd need to see the debug output from your X1000, so you would know whether the transfer has crashed or encountered some problem. But if you aren't normally encountering problems with your network on either of the two machines, I'd suspect a problem with either AmiFTP or the FTP ...

Re: Transfer A4000 HD to X1000
Thanks Niels !
Hopefully, I also have a copy of my A4000 disk image on my Linux machine. The other problem is that when I try to download it with AmiFTP, the transfer seems to hang after some times (around 700-800Mb out of 2Gb). Maybe I should wait longer and the transfer will resume ?

Re: HDAudio driver for X1000 onboard sound
That is a good idea, but my TV/monitor has no audio input. (Yes, I should have taken more time before choosing a "monitor" for my X1000.)gazelle wrote:My guess would be that you only need the right cable to connect the line out to the audio in of your TV/monitor.
Thanks for your suggestion anyway.
