Debian 32/64

Hi
After the last update I couldn't log in to Debian 32/64. I remembered that it was the same a while ago and there was something wrong with libglamoregl.so which I had to rename for Debian 32/64 to run. I booted Feinix and looked at the partitions with Debian 32/64 and could see that libglamoregl.so was installed again. After renaming both Debian ran normally, but of course without GL.

There is an issue with Mesa currently.
Adélie is also affected. We were able to solve it with downgrading Mesa in Adélie.
In Debian it is difficult to solve it because you need the old Mesa packages and I am not sure if they still exist because the Debian PPC/PPC64 ports distribution is a rolling release distribution.

Just to info
Currently debian trixie/sid 64 cannot boot on the vmlinux-6 series (have tested several from the series). It boots fine on the vmlinux-5 series (5.11 and 5.16).
Debian trixie/sid 32 does not have this error.

I have testet debian 64 with vmlinux-6.14_rc4 and boot is ok
Which kernels did you test with Debian Trixie/Sid? (6.14, 6.13, 6.12 etc.)
Have you seen any error messages?
I don’t think it is an issue with 64-bit userlands because openSUSE Tumbleweed PPC64 works with the kernel 6.14.

What I'm saying is that before the update that broke something in Debian 64, the kernel 6 series worked on both debian 64 and 32.
After that, the kernel 6 series doesn't work on Debian 64. It's not the same thing that caused a kernel panic on Debian 32.
I just tested 6.12 ,6.13_rc7 ,,6.14_rc1, 6.14_rc3 and 6.14_rc5 on debian 32 all boot.
Kernel panic occurs sporadically on my system and for the most part it's an error in the FAT file system on the usb disk I'm using. It occurs if I delete or copy new files onto the disk. That error is not the same as what happened on Debian 64.

I see. Debian updates are responsible for this issue.

Yes I think so.
Its not the kernel. But it's strange that the 5 serie work. But its good for me. I can update and maybe its change some day.

USB with FAT made problems on my X1000 too - exactly the same issue, when I deleted some file from USB and put new one.
Now I am using EXT2 for USB many years without problems.

What is the FAT volume being used for in this case?
