This is my Debian PPC64 sources.list:

deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ unreleased main
# contrib and non-free arch:all packages (i.e. firmware)
deb [arch=all] http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ unstable contrib non-free-firmware
# source
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ unstable main

Hi
Unfortunately, I have had problems with debian 32 and 64 trixie.
I can log in on debian 32 and upgrade but keep getting an error as in the attached photo. I think it is a Radeon problem. On debian 64, I can't log in because the screen updates again so quickly that I can't manage to type my password
Have a nice day

Hi Musa,
It seems, there is an issue in a new Mesa currently:

And Debian (MintPPC) uses a new Mesa version.
Cheers,
Christian

Has anyone tried to install this or update their packages lately? Based off Debian Sid it's fairly current now. The project is still being worked on it looks but does require manual work to get the packages installed.

@hypex.
My Debian 64 and 32 trixie/sid is made of mint images files.
Then chance over to only Debian .
But they started as a mint installation.
I think it was Roland from the x5000 forum who made the images file.

That's interesting. Looks like the original MintPPC was based on Ubuntu like Mint still is now. But when it was rebooted it was built on top of Debian directly. The live USB on site has been deleted. Which leaves following the manual guide for a fresh Debian. Apart from the live image provided here that still is active. Be funny to see a fairly modern Mint on my X1000. Since I run Mint on my laptop.
Looking back at the error you posted I wonder if I am having similar trouble. My errors are different and feature GPU lock ups. Which was also taking over terminals and flooding the screen with errors. For a GPU lock up it seems strange the GPU was still producing an image with text all over it. That doesn't look like a GPU lock up to me.
I could still log in on serial to shut it down. But if I made the mistake of running dmesg which I did then the terminal was then flooded with GPU errors and the system really did lock up.

@hypex
I renamed /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libglamoregl.so
It's fix the missing grafic but with out 3d
The same for 64 and 32
