Hello every one.

It's been a long while but I have a much delayed update for the X1Boot Manager. There's some new management features, a few bug fixes and a few more other changes. Making this a a good overall improvement.

New features
  • Now caches release versions of kernel modules for faster operation.
  • Image and menu lists with kernels now includes column marking default
    kernel.
  • Kernel list now shows default kernel and kernel module release versions.
  • Kernel images editor has new option "Clear Modules" to clear out unused
modules in boot menu from system.
  • Kernel images editor has new option "Remove Modules" to remove orphaned
modules without installed kernel from system.
  • Menu editor now has new option "Reset Menu" to clear all entries and reset
    menu.
  • Settings editor now shows active setting when editing each setting.
  • Duplicate setting now has new options to update or overwrite duplicate
    files.
  • Option to "Create Ramdisks" in Kernel images editor will now repack
existing ramdisks if Duplicate is set to update or overwrite files.

Bug fixes
  • Fixed issues with files when path names contained spaces.
  • Fixed issue where extracting kernel release version could be corrupted.
  • Fixed issue where ramdisk creation failed silently due to invalid release
    version.
  • Fixed issue where modules were installed with incorrect file permissions.
  • Fixed issue where boot partiion check failing would fall through without
    giving an error and continue.
  • Fixed issue where double clicks would exit menu due to zenity bug.
  • Fixed issue with installer falling through and aborting due to debconf
skipping prompts as well as possible messages being displayed twice.

Other changes
  • All root file operations will now ask for password before asking for any
    file selection.
  • Credentials needed for root permission are now encrypted with random key
    for increased security.
  • Reduced size of ramdisks created on newer kernels and distros that can
    cause bloating.
  • Progress bars now encapsulate quick multiple file operations under one
    progress dialog.
  • Installing kernel images now accepts kernels prefixed with "kernel" in
file dialog and will detect ramdisks prefixed with "ramdisk".
