Sailor asked on the X1000 Linux forum whether DP works with PPC Linux. I tested recently the DP port of a Radeon HD card, and I got picture out normally but audio was not available. Could someone who can post to the X1000 forum add a link to this answer to the thread there (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4933).

BTW, quite an idiotic limitation that X5000 and X1000 owners cannot post to both fora! Could this be removed somehow...?

Thanks! I forgot to mention that also U-Boot works with DP, and even MorphOS in some sort of low resolution 'emergency mode'. But cfe may be a different story...
