Hi All,

kas1e has ported BillyFrontier to AmigaOS 4.1.

I compiled it with the big endian music patch for Linux PPC 32-bit. It works on Fienix, Void PPC, and on MintPPC/Debian Sid.

I see an icon for Nanosaur (original); has this been ported to PowerPC Linux?

I think, it hasn’t been ported to Linux PPC. It compiles but it doesn’t start. I will create a bug report.

Thanks! Just wanted to ask because I hadn't seen anything about it yet, and I remember playing it as a kid :)

Jorio has released the new version 1.1.1 of BillyFrontier.

New:
  • Improved rotation controls in shootout mode. Turning by slamming the mouse cursor to the edges of the screen feels much smoother now. You can also use the mouse wheel or horizontal trackpad scrolling to turn.
  • New settings to adjust mouse wheel scrolling speed and direction.
  • Fix minor graphical artifacts with smoke and flame effects.
  • macOS: Fixed right edge scrolling in shootouts on Retina displays (thanks, @tobiasjordan!)
  • Update SDL to 2.28.3.
I compiled it for Linux PPC 32-bit today. It works on Fienix, Void PPC, and on MintPPC/Debian Sid.
