Hi ,I was trying to install Linux Debian but somehow it failed.Big problem is system not booting into anything.I shows power and standby light then when I push the button I get a mcu error led blinking .disconnected HD’s and cd rom ,switch on ,all lights come on then abruptly the fans stop and the mcu light goes on anyway to reset this thanks in advance it looks like mcu 1

A blinking red LED is usually the sign of the microSD card missing or not making good contact in its holder. Check it carefully under a good light and make sure that the hinged clip is properly attached to the holder underneath.

It might be that OP overwrote the sd card? (there's another thread like this?)

Yeah, OP sent me a PM confirming that. I don't know anything about installing Linux - do you really have to over-write the microSD chip??? Surely not.

In any case, if he can't get anything to run, he will have to get another chip from somewhere (like a friend), get U-Boot running, then replace his broken chip and re-program it from U-Boot.

Hi Thank you all .Shoutout to Aaron at Amiga on the Lake he is sending a new SD card. Also can’t wait for a web browser otherwise I would never have even bothered with Linux.Wolud definitely help with a go fund me thing it would surely save more time,money and effort,and finally conquer the mountain once and for all.

No. You don't have to overwrite the SD card to install linux. You can just install to a hard drive.
But, You can "choose" to, as Alex proved.

It's user error to choose the wrong device at the install prompt. (I did this too..long ago, grin)
