Hi have a one gig HD looking to put Linux on it with Amiga os so what format & file system would I be using thanks . Also would I make it boot able and priority over Amiga partition .Would I use Amiga format or some other right now I have part of it on usb Thank you

Which graphics card is installed in your X5000? Which Linux distribution do you want to install?

Ubuntu and it’s a Radeon sff 7750 2 gig ,actually I don’t care which Linux but that’s the only one I could get to unpacked another gentleman me I just need to change the redirect mirror because this one was not working thanks

Please note: You don't have hardware 3D acceleration with your graphics card on Ubuntu. That means, Ubuntu isn't as fast as with a compatible graphics card (Radeon HD6xxx and below).

Please excuse,you mentioned no hardware acceleration on graphics with Ubuntu .is there another Linux disttro that would support it thank you

Unfortunately not. You need a Radeon HD6xxx or below.
