Re: Kernel 4.19
Hi All,
I released the stable longterm kernel 4.19.65 today.
New:

Please test the kernels because Casey would like to add these to the next Fienix ISO.
Thanks,
Christian
I released the stable longterm kernel 4.19.65 today.
New:
- CONFIG_PREEMPT: Preemptible Kernel (Low-Latency Desktop). This allows applications to run more 'smoothly' even when the system is under load.
- Initial ramdisks for the X5000 and X1000. Instructions for creating an initial ramdisk: forum.hyperion-entertainment.com
- Linux Git log
- X1000: pcmcia patch for solving the issues with new CF cards connected to the onboard CompactFlash Card Slot (Thanks to Darren)
- X1000: compressed kernel (zImage) and uncompressed kernel (vmlinux)

Please test the kernels because Casey would like to add these to the next Fienix ISO.
Thanks,
Christian

I did not mean ISO but IMG.xeno74 wrote: Please test the kernels because Casey would like to add these to the next Fienix ISO.
@Casey
The stable kernel 4.20 has reached EOL. Please use the stable longterm kernel 4.19 for Fienix instead.

Re: Kernel 4.19
Hi All,
I compiled the latest longterm kernel 4.19.85 today. Unfortunately the issue with the MATE Terminal still exists. I can't solve it because I don't see any error messages after the crash. I tried it with gdb but without any success.
Cheers,
Christian

Re: Kernel 4.19
The MATE Terminal also crashes with the longterm kernel 4.14.xeno74 wrote:Hi All,
